A blog journey consisting of my (hopefully eventual) triumph over weight loss with bits here and there about my oh so zesty life :)
So today went pretty well. Me and the roomie stayed up until 3:30 am talking and so I got a super late start this morning but I still forced myself to go to the gym for a run on the treadmill for an hour. I ate decently today — a breakfast sandwich with wheat bread, yogurt, fruit cup, wheat pasta with grilled beef….everything was going well until the roomie came back from work and brought me a giant rice crispy treat (from a restaurant not from the store) I took a couple of bites and was in heaven and then I decided that I would put the bulk of it away and save it for later. Of course I could only hold out for a matter of minutes before I ravished like 80% of it. Still have a mini hunk left but I know those rice crispy treat things can rack up in the calories. I’m still glad I didn’t eat the whole thing but I know I could have exercised a bit more willpower.
Now I’m off to bed (don’t want another night of going to sleep at 3:30 and waking up at 11:15 — how am I gonna lose weight with a sleep pattern like that?)
Tomorrow I really AM going to Target and I have a mini story to tell about something interesting that happened to me this summer. Hmmmmm ;)
